Our February celebration brought creativity, collaboration, and timeless style together through a vintage beauty photoshoot inspired by the glamour of the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Students teamed up to design and execute era-inspired looks, blending technical skills with artistic vision.
What made this experience even more special was the collaboration across programs. Students worked together to plan styling, apply makeup, perfect hair designs, and create beautiful nail details to bring each decade to life.

Behind the Scenes: Collaboration & Creativity
The vintage beauty photoshoot was filled with energy, laughter, and teamwork from start to finish. Students supported one another while refining details, adjusting styles, and perfecting each pose.
Our social media manager Criss captured the creativity in action, while Lead Educator Kendra helped shape the final images by assisting with lighting and directing student poses. Their guidance helped students feel confident in front of the camera and ensured each look was showcased at its best.
The photoshoot itself was a highlight of the day — full of smiles, encouragement, and excitement as students saw their artistic visions come to life.

Beyond the finished looks, this experience strengthened real-world skills. Students practiced collaboration, communication, time management, and creative problem-solving — all essential in a professional salon environment.
